Where to go from here...

Whether you are just graduating college, starting a second or third career, returning to work force or recently forced out by the job market you wonder, "Where to go from here..." This can be scary if you force yourself into the decision before you are well informed or prepared for change. Sometimes we make a career move or a life style change quickly due to real pressing issues such as financial responsibilities, relocation needs or family needs. However, many times we look at these opportunity to make a change unrealistically because we put undue pressure on herselves with imaginary deadlines.

For this reason, I suggest that you look closely at your decision making process and before building up undue anxiety give yourself the opportunity to look outside your box. Let yourself entertain ideas that you have previously pushed to the background because of your former position. Avoid the tendency to limit yourself, downplay your skills or narrow your focus during this period of contemplation.

By seeking out challenging avenues to pursue you will build up your muscle that helps you discover hidden talents, forgotten dreams and your own advertureous side.
